There are so many layers to getting over a long term relationship.  First there’s the intense emotional turmoil which in the mind of someone living it lasts an eternity.  Then there’s denial, in one form or another, which can manifest in complete seclusion from the outside world and range to crazy, partying hornfest.  Denial in this stage is really a stuffing of the intense turbulent emotions that are still present and as strong as presented in the first stage.  But the body, brain and heart are worn out with dealing with them and therefore develop the all-affective callous.  Now from there it slowly gets better but not without freq

Well, it looks like I'm finally entering a good chapter in my life.  Hopefully this one won't be torn and shattered by grief, anger and pain.  I'm thinking not though however I do feel unease about moving back to my hometown.  I know a number of people laid to rest in the dusty pages of long past chapters may come to rise back into this new one.  And I'm not sure if that will be for good . . . or not.  On the other hand, I will be so far away from my fiance'.  I miss him already, him being 45 minutes away but it will be worse when those minutes will turn into an hour and a half.  Yes there are those who've braved worse and survived but this i
